Bill Gordon
Director of Propaganda

Location: Long Island, NY

About the writer:

Dad: Where do you get your values? From that stinking heavy metal music you listen to day and night?
BiLL: Yeah, that's it, man. It's all the music! You know everything is just fine until we just listen to a couple of heavy metal albums. Then we get all fucked up!
I currently work at Chelsea Piers, a sports & entertainment complex in New York City, run my record label called UndeRadar on Strong Island, coach ice & roller hockey, and continue to be Justin Wonka’s Consigliore AKA Director of Propaganda. Check out www.underadar.com and support independent music.

Hi, I am Elysa (right) and this is my fiancé Jon-jon (left). We are a part of the WV traveling circus. Our jobs entail feeding the llamas, carrying heavy boxes, plus many other various and usually last minute tasks. Together we enjoy watching penguins waddle, drinking wine such as "the little penguin", Halloween, and traveling to Japan. We will leave you with a trivia question to ponder: How many issues of WV has Justin appeared wearing a Phillies hat while standing next to a brick wall?

I’m 24 years young and still trying to figure it all out but in the mean time I like music and I like to write so why not put them together? I’m the co-founder, associate editor and master of the universe for SoundTheSirens.com, an independent online music magazine. Contributing Writer

About the writer:
Other than hanging with family and watching Three's Company reruns, life doesn't get much better than frolicking with my American Staffordshire Terriers (pitbulls). These fabulous creatures continue to get a bad rap because of BAD people who own, mistreat, and mis-raise them. So get informed, people! I'm also the associate editor of Clear Magazine where I write about lots of expensive stuff.

Age: A rock chick never tells her true age.

About the writer:
I spend much of my time writing about rock music for 10 national pubs, including Wonka Vision. I am working on a book about the live metal scene in different cities throughout the country. I hang out with rock dudes all the time. I like West Virginia. It's my favorite state. I also write about Lip Gloss and other beauty products for a NYC makeup website. I live outside of NYC—in New Jersey, of course—but I grew up outside of Philly. On the Jersey side. I usually go to at least 125 rock shows a year. I'm probably going to be deaf in a few years. I also have a day job at Roadrunner Records, doing metal radio and video promotion.

I write by day, dance by night and study cellular respiration and diatomic particles somewhere in between. I hate driving, roaches, fake lunchmeat and people who ride their bike on the sidewalk. I love crocheting, red wine, boots and dimensional analysis. I have a cat named Ike, who plays fetch with a miniature beanie Grover. I'm not as punk rock as everyone else around here.

Location: Sometimes Princeton, NJ... sometimes Boston, MA... and for the next four months, Kasteel Well, The Netherlands.
Age: 19

About the writer:
I am a bundle of nervous energy. I can't stay in one place for too long. I can't focus on one person or thing. I want to know everything and experience everything and travel the world and meet everyone who will take the time to say hello. I start countless projects that I will never finish... and for the most part, I don't really care, because all I really want is a taste, just a little nibble, enough to satisfy my abundant curiosity. Wonka Vision is the only commitment I have ever been able to keep.

Greg Pratt
Reviews Editor

Location: Victoria, BC, Canada
Age:28

About Me:
I've spent a lifetime obsessing about music and now primarly survive by writing about it, although three days a week I can be found doing incredibly menial and often quite manual labour in order to pay my bills. Although, I don't have cable and hate cell phones, and aren't heat and hot water included in my rent? So I pay for my phone, internet and electricity costs. I do other things too, but I'll wait until our second date to give you further details.

About the writer:
Is guilt an innate emotion or an artificial constraint of societal structure? Yeah, that's a question that enters my mind at least once a day. No, that doesn't mean I do fucked up shit I should feel bad for, it just makes me wonder why we do what we do. One thing is for sure though, there's a lot of determination in this tiny body. Oh yeah, and I'm keeping the commas in check for you.

Chip Midnight
Reviewer

Location: Columbus, OH
Age: 34

About the writer:
I realized that I loved music the first time I heard "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne as an 11-year-old kid growing up in Connecticut. It's been a rock and roll life ever since. My parents' record collection was abysmal, so I was raised on FM radio and, later, MTV. My life changed when I saw Nirvana play a sold-out show (200 people) shortly after Nevermind was released. I hope to pass on this love of music to my three daughters-Olivia, Abbey, and Piper (they've got a good head start).

About the writer:
I grew up in a little bitty town in southern Missouri. It's amazing I learned anything about music, yet I somehow fought off the Billy Ray Cyrus and Meat Loaf with mail order and road trips. Currently, I live in Chicago, photographing for a variety of publications, until I decide which coast to end up on. After I photograph Amy Goodman of Democracy Now and Ian MacKaye, I can retire happy. I enjoy jumping on beds, over-analyzing life, Farscape, my studio, and stealing hipsters' lunch money. And no, that Screeching Weasel song is not about me.
