LITTLE JEFFY :: THREE PHOTOS, TWO KIDS, AND ONE DISCOVERY

It’s kind of a love story.Stephanie Galavodas met Justin Luczejko, the Editor-in-Chief of Wonka Vision Magazine.

The kids were in their "courting" phase and Justin’s idea of a hot-date was to have Stephanie come over his tiny studio apartment [which stunt-doubled as the WVM office] to stuff CD Samplers into magazines. He made sure Breakfast Club was on in the background – CLASSY!

In the couple’s malaise they thought it would be fun to insert three random photographs, of three random friends, into three random magazines, that would in turn be shelved throughout three different Tower Records stores in the United States.

The photos included Stan [friend of The Starting Line], Christian Luczejko [Justin’s brother] and Jeff Meyers [WVM’s former Music Editor].

On the back of Jeff’s photo for instance, it read; "Congratulations! You found Little Jeffy!" The message went on to explain to the esteemed winner that if they e-mailed the about-to-be couple they’d win a lifetime subscription to Wonka Vision Magazine!

Two years later, Stephanie became Justin’s girlfriend, then his Columns Editor, then they moved in together, bought a dog and the following e-mail landed in their inbox with the subject line "I FOUND LITTLE JEFFY…" As the e-mail went on, this marked a new chapter in the couple’s life, and so it read…

"Yeah! Little Jeffy! I found him....Yeah! Oh my, this has to be the funniest thing that I have ever found....I bought the CD with the picture in it about a year and a half ago when I was working at Tower Records here in Stockton, California. I had no idea it was in there at first. I have moved quite a bit since finding Jeffy so I never [officially] had Jeffy and a computer with me at the same time. Recently, I was able to get a lot of my stuff out of storage - and voilà - that brings us up to date...Me and Little Jeffy, together, writing in for our lifetime subscription!
